Phrixothrix
A downloadable game for Windows
Phrixothrix is an adventure game with point and click elements. Physically you are trapped in a dimly lit bunker, but by using a machine in the bottom floor you can assume control of an alien worm. Through discovering hidden tunnels, holes, and vents, you will find new places to send the worm and uncover the truth of this strange world.
Features:
- Control yourself and an alien worm.
- A Point & Click mode for interacting with the game world. (Press TAB)
- Exploration focused gameplay with light puzzle solving.
- Beyond the title screen and the options menu, the game has no words, and thus no language barrier.

--
Note: Every time you reload the game, you and the worm will spawn in their respective starting spots. So don't worry, your progress was saved if you clicked SAVE, but the character's position will always reset to those starting points.

Started playing today and really loving it! Good puzzle design without relying on language. Unfortunately I've gotten completely stumped about an hour in. One of the bedroom fuses is still missing and there's a worm-interface puzzle with dice I can't solve. I'm also missing disks 3 and 4.
Thank you so much for playing, I'm glad you're enjoying it. I wish I could post with a spoiler tag in case you wanted the solutions, but it looks like that's not possible. I think I'll release a guide in the next couple days that you could check if you're still stumped.
Did this guide ever get written? I'm really stumped as to how to get the third ending. It feels like a deadlock where I need to use an item to open a door but I need that item back after activating something on the other side of it...
No, I must have gotten distracted by other things because I honestly forgot about making it. I will for sure make the guide next week.
Thank you so much!
Hey, sorry, I just released a new game on the 24th, and I've spent way more time than I expected dealing with bugs and various support for it so I haven't had any time to work on the guide. So what I'll do now is strictly focus the guide on endings 2 and 3 and get that out this week.
